Free ResPaP™ Policies and Procedures for HCI Training Course Participants

Health Care Informed (HCI) is delighted to announce dates for the Developing Practical Policies and Procedures training programme.

Training course participants will have FREE access to 120 policies and procedures (ResPaP™) developed by HCI over three years with nursing homes in Ireland.  The policies and procedures are internationally evidence based with the ECRI Institute and fulfil all the HIQA requirements as set out in the National Quality Standards for Residential Care Settings for Older People including Records, Rights, Care, ADLs, Management and HR.

The training day will focus on:

  • Benefits of Policies and Procedures
  • Staff Involvement
  • Process Mapping
  • HIQA Requirements
  • Audit and Evaluation
  • Accessing and Editing ResPaP™ documents

The ResPaP™ policies and procedures are only available to those attending the Developing Practical Policies and Procedures training.  Dates include:

  • 13th August 2009, Claregalway Hotel, Galway
  • 14th August 2009, Green Isle Hotel, Newlands Cross, Dublin 22 ***NEW EARLIER DATE***
  • 20th August 2009, Springfort Hotel, Mallow, Co Cork

To secure your attendance, please complete and return the attached booking form together with a cheque or bank draft payable to Health Care Informed for €500* per participant. 

The attached License Agreement must be signed on or before the training day in order to access the FREE ResPaP™ Framework Policies and Procedures.  User names and passwords shall be issued on the day of training.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT – Follow on training shall be provided to organisations to assist in the effective implementation of the Residential Policies and Procedures Framework (ResPaP). Implementing Practical Policies and Procedures shall be a one day course for all levels of staff utilising ResPaP in their nursing home. Support and guidance shall be provided at these sessions. Dates shall be agreed with attendees of the initial training programmes. Cost of these sessions shall be €85 per person and are restricted to those organisations who have attended Developing Practical Policies and Procedures and are utilising ResPaP.

*  SPECIAL OFFER TO NHI - Nursing Homes Ireland members who book before Friday 17th July will receive an additional €100 off the price of the training course. In addition attendees shall receive another €100 discount for the forthcoming HCI training programme “Entry Programme for Persons in Charge” (September 2009) This shall look at the practical utilisation of the new mandatory HIQA Entry Programme which was developed in association with Health Care Informed (HCI).
